Epimeleia Argentina

Epimeleia (ep-ee-mel'-i-ah) in Greek means my attitude to show care or my attitude to display kind attention:

  • in relation to Myself
  • in relation to Humanity and
  • in relation to Spirituality.

We're a nonprofit organization dedicated to serve as a psychological consulting center. As we are specialized in the Person-Center-Approach, we trust in your own ability to handle a situation and find a solution.

Our Objectives are to help, orientate and go with people or groups, who are in difficult circumstances, to find improvement in their quality of life. Also, facilitate their process changes, development and deployment. Other objectives are to communicate issues pertaining to the Counseling and the Person-Center-Approach as a work methodology, as well as being primary preventative agents.

We are a team of professionals who work as psychologists consultants trained in the person-centered approach (CCA) with a humanistic view, where the person prevails.

Our commitment is to work starting from the Being; a holistic Being which combines diverse bio-psycho-social aspects.

Epimeleia has the valuable contributions of Karina Calisto, Juan Manuel Lemos, Claudio Rud, to which we are grateful.

President: Alejandro Lemos

Secretary: Gabriela Cartasso

How can I help?

The supportive projects we have initiated have been made with the invaluable contributions of authors donating their texts to the "Library for the Person", reports for the cycle "Conversations from the Beginning" donated by a number of professionals and volunteer work from Epimeleia members.

Every year, during the months of October and November, we begin our campaign for voluntary contributions to continue the service that benefit so many.

An organization such as ours needs ongoing support from users and friends to sustain the operation of the library, reports and new projects.

What your donation does: Allow to continue the operation of the various services we offer. Ensure our Internet and other staff to manage the library, to continue to incorporate more technology, and to provide better services implementing new projects.

Epimeleia is an nonprofit organization and does not receive scholarships or grants to support the projects initiated; that’s why we encourage you to make voluntary contributions; all collaborations are important to us and have no minimum amounts. We trust that many of you through small individual contributions can help us sustain and expand the projects for every year.

We thank all of you who have already contacted us in search of how to help us and we also encourage many others to participate and support the development of these services.

There are several ways to Support the Organization…
